Centennial College - Assistant to the Executive Director
The Centennial Conference is accepting applications for the position of Assistant to the Executive Director. The Assistant to the Executive Director will work directly with the Executive Director in all aspects of the Centennial Conference office, including but not limited to the following:
Communications: Assist with designing and writing weekly releases, publicize the conference to the media and update the website and statistics.
Championships: Assist in overseeing conference championships and playoffs including budget, event operations, and game management.
Awards: Assist with the conference awards program, which includes producing and distributing the awards and streamlining the online awards system.
Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC): Assist the assistant director with all aspects of the Centennial Conference SAAC, including planning bi-annual meetings, conference calls, community engagement initiatives, and educational programming.
New Media: Take the lead role in all multimedia planning, development and implementation in the Conference office. The assistant to the executive director will lead the implementation of the Conference's goals and strategies around branding, multimedia marketing, video material, as well as the development and maintenance of multimedia web content.
- Produce live events on Facebook Live.
- Produce video features including championship previews/wrap-ups, student-athlete vignettes, highlight shows, and plays of the week.
Social Networking: Coordinate the Conference presence and message on Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, and other social media outlets.
Educational Programming: Work directly with member schools to help coordinate the yearly Snell-Shillingford Coaching Symposium, which is a program offered to undergraduate women who are interested in pursuing a career in coaching.
This is a full-time 43 week position (about 10 months per year). Start date will be August 2017. This full-time internship is a two-year NCAA grant funded position headquartered in Lancaster, Pa. Evening and weekend work may be required. Your schedule may vary to accommodate evening and weekend work. There may be times when you will work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, rain).
Ursinus College - Head Women’s Volleyball Coach
Ursinus College has an immediate opening for Head Women’s Volleyball Coach. This is a full-time position. The candidate will be responsible for the administration and organization of a successful program that competes in the Centennial Conference at the NCAA Division III level.
Projected start date: June 1, 2017
