SWARTHMORE, Pa.--Swarthmore College Baseball improved to 12-5 this season, picking up its third straight win in comeback fashion against Cabrini University on Tuesday.
The Garnet hadn't led at any point in the game before overcoming a 3-2 deficit by plating four in the bottom of the eighth inning.
Sophomore
Jared Gillen as well as juniors
Charles Levitt,
Conor Elliott and
Jackson Roberts all had two hits in the victory.
Gillen's two-RBI single in the eighth gave Swarthmore the 5-3 lead that they held onto behind sophomore
Jack Corkery's second save of the season in the ninth.
In the eighth frame, senior
Jackson Ramey made his fourth relief appearance of the season and picked up the win, which was his first decision on the year.
The Garnet compiled 11 hits in the game. They've now had 10-plus hits in 10 games this season.
Swarthmore is scheduled to take on Elizabethtown College on Friday at 3 p.m. in Elizabethtown, Pa.
