CARLISLE, Pa. –
Sophomore Aedan Collins (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) picked up a pair of individual victories and Gettysburg College won seven of the first nine events on the way to a 116-84 victory over Dickinson College in Centennial Conference men's swimming action Wednesday night.

Gettysburg (7-1, 4-1 CC) wasted no time in grabbing the lead against Dickinson (7-4, 2-3 CC) with a victory in the first race of the night. Freshman Sam Nonemaker (Shippensburg, Pa./Shippensburg) overcame a 0.18 second deficit in his 50-free leg of the 200 medley relay to help the Bullets beat out Dickinson by six-hundredths of a second with a time of 1:39.73. Junior Jeff Ragatz (Brookfield, Conn./Brookfield), sophomore Oliver Yancey (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven), and senior Francisco Nieves (Alexandria, Va./Edison) swam the opening three legs of the race.

The Orange and Blue claimed the top spot in each of the next three races. Freshman Oliver Pickering (Millburn, N.J./Millburn) cracked the program's all-time top 10 with a victory in the 1,000 free. Pickering's time of 10:02.49 moved him into sixth in school history.

Collins picked up the first of his two victories in the 200 free, edging out classmate Jack Edelson (Charlotte, N.C./Providence Senior) by 0.37 seconds with a time of 1:46.04. Collins beat another teammate, senior Jake Hegna (Brielle, N.J./Manasquan) for the top spot in the 100 back with a time of 55.87 later in the meet.

Nonemaker led a 1-2-3 finish in the 50 free with a time of 21.77. He was followed by Yancey and senior Parker Sorenson (Evergreen, Colo./Homeschooled) with times of 22.06 and 22.66, respectively.

Another 1-2-3 finish was produced by the Bullets in the 100 free. Nieves led the charge with a time of 48.42 and Yancey was second in 48.70. Sophomore Brian Berry (Canton, Conn./Canton) finished third in 49.48.
