SWARTHMORE, Pa.—Swarthmore College Women's Swimming topped the Gettysburg College Bullets for the first time since the 1983-84 season with a resounding 168.5-93.5 win at home.
Swarthmore swept the top-three positions in the 200 free, the 100 back and the 500 free.
Swarthmore also finished first in the 1,000 free, 100 breast, 200 fly, the 200 back, the 200 breast, the 200 IM and the 200 free relay.
In the 200 free, Swarthmore had
Clare Cushing (1:57.12),
Sophia Lee (2:00.51), and Abigail Goodman (2:01.57) as the top-three finishers.
Hyeyun Chae won the 100 back with a sub-minute time. She took first with 59.92,
Selina Ye took second (1:01.59) and
Stephanie Tilneac came in third (1:02.22).
Hannah Kloetzer clocked in at 5:18.32 for first place in the 500 free.
Scout Clark came in second (5:24.80) and Abigail Goodman came in third (5:26.57).
Kloetzer also raced to first place in the 1000 free (10:46.96).
Maggie Eberts came in first in the 100 breast (1:07.25) and 200 breast (2:27.32).
In the 200 fly, Cushing won by more than four seconds with a time of 2:10.62.
Hyeyun Chae also had a plus-four-second win in the 200 back (2:10.34).
Sophia Lee won the 200 IM in 2:13.10.
