Swarthmore College Women's Track & Field was present at Villanova University and Ursinus College on Saturday. Juniors
Sydney Covitz and
Clay Conley were at the Villanova Invite while most of their teammates traveled to the Frank Colden Invite.
Freshman
Scout Hayashi and sophomore
Maya Zimmerman both set personal records in Collegeville, Pa. Hayashi remained third in school history in the 60-meter hurdles by crossing the finish line in 10.18 seconds, 0.01 better than her previous best. Zimmerman, Swarthmore's top pentathlete ever, scored 2,395 points on Saturday, 70 more than the record she set last season.
Conley, named Centennial Conference Women's Field Athlete of the Week on Monday, got fourth in the shot put at Villanova with a heave of 12.24m (40' 2").
Next up for Swarthmore is the Keogh Invitational at Haverford College on Feb. 16 at 10:30 a.m. That is Swarthmore's last scheduled meet before the Centennial Conference Championships set for Feb. 23-24 at Franklin & Marshall College.
