SWARTHMORE, Pa.—Swarthmore College Men's Swimming returned to competition after training in Puerto Rico over winter break and took on No. 15 Rowan University and No. 25 Stevens Institute of Technology.
Jeffrey Tse won the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 52.86 and took first place in the 200 breaststroke, scorching his way to a time of 2:08.47, six-and-a-half seconds faster than the runner-up.
Michael Lutzker had quality swims in the 1,000 free (9:54.55) and the 500 free (4:52.43).
Jeffrey Mun was just behind Lutzker in the 500 with a time of 4:52.72.
Chris Smith clocked in at 1:46.94 in the 200 free for third place.
Alec Menzer had a season best in the 200 fly and came in second with a time of 1:57.48.
Swarthmore is back in action on Feb. 3 at home against Gettysburg College.
