SCRANTON, Pa. - Swarthmore College Men's Golf closed out the fall season with a second place finish at the Gino Bondi Memorial Tournament at Glenmaura National Golf Club this past weekend.
The Garnet carded a 633 for a runner-up place finish behind Centennial Conference foe, Franklin & Marshall College.
Jackson Murphy led the Garnet as he finished tied for sixth place with an 11-over par. In round one on Saturday, Murphy carded a 74 and closed out the tournament with a 79 on Sunday for a total card of 153.
Ankur Malik carded a 156 for tied for eighth place finish, and
Michael Brown ended the tournament with a 157. On Saturday, Malik carded a 77 and a 79 on Sunday. Brown started the tournament off with an 83, but closed the tournament with a team best 74.
Gyan Bains closed out the tournament for Swarthmore with a 167. The junior carded an 84 on Saturday and an 83 on Sunday.
Swarthmore will return to the course in March for the spring season.
