WEST CHESTER, Pa.—Swarthmore College Men's Track & Field competed at West Chester University and Princeton University this weekend.
John Gagnon ran the 5,000-meters at Princeton in 15:25.88, finishing in 42nd in a crowded field.
At West Chester, the Garnet recorded several top-five finishes. In the 100m, Adil Belagaumi sprinted to a time of 11.55.
Zain Hannan took fifth in the 400m (51.64). In the 800m, Ben Warren captured third with a run of 2:00.35.
In the field,
Daniel Belkin recorded a high jump of 1.9m for second place and also took fourth in the long jump with a 6.11m leap.
Jerry Qin and
Jon Saltzman took second and third in the pole vault with marks of 3.6m and 3.45m, respectively.
Andrew Jansen recorded a throw of 13.69m in the shot put for third place, and
Noah Rosenberg hurled the javelin 51.54m for second overall.
Swarthmore competes next at Widener University on Saturday.
