SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Gettysburg College women's indoor track and field competed at the Susquehanna Invitational on Saturday, ranking up five top-10 finishes.
On the field, freshman
Ashlyn Booher (Boiling Springs, Pa./Boiling Springs) claimed 6th (20:18.31) in the 5,000-meter run.
Senior
Danielle DeMichael (Doylestown, Pa./Central Bucks East) and collected ninth-place in the 800-meter run, clocking a time of 2:26.95.
In the 4x400-meter relay, junior
Emily Wielk (West Haven, Conn./Sacred Heart), sophomore
Alexa Kerprich (Dresher, Pa./Upper Dublin), senior
Colleen Campbell (Erie, Pa./Collegiate Academy), and DeMichael posted a 4:34.25 time to tally sixth.
On the field, freshman
Caitlin Yap (Wayne, N.J./Morris Catholic) tallied 10th in the pole vault, finishing with an 8-06.75 mark, which ranks her ninth in that event at Gettysburg.
Freshman
Jessica Alessi (Nassau, N.Y./Ichabod Crane) set a new personal record (PR) in the weight throw, tossing 33-03.00. She now ranks ninth in the event in program history.
Freshman
Anna Pienkos (North Haven, Conn./Sacred Heart Academy) finished with a 4-09.00 mark in the high jump, placing tied for eighth in the event.
Gettysburg picks up its schedule Feb. 23-24 at the Centennial Conference Indoor Championship, hosted by Franklin & Marshall College.
