• The Short Story: The Johns Hopkins women's basketball team improved to 10-2 on the season with a 64-37 victory over Bryn Mawr on Tuesday night at Goldfarb Gym.

How it Happened
• The Blue Jays jumped out to a quick 7-0 lead in the first capped by a three from Madison McGrath off a pass from Lillian Scott. A Scott jumper at 4:14 gave JHU a nine-point lead at 15-6, but the Owls rallied back using a 6-0 run to pull to within three with 2:40 remaining. Hopkins outscored Bryn Mawr 6-4 to end the quarter with a 21-16 lead.
• Five straight points by Scott put the Blue Jays up 31-21 in the second quarter but a layup by Laya Paladugu stopped Scott's run and made the score 31-23 with 2:23 left. Rory Cole and Jess Sweeney hit back-to-back layups to give Johns Hopkins a 35-23 lead after the first 20 minutes of play.  
• With the score 40-28 with 5:29 remaining in the third, Hopkins went on a 17-0 run over the next 5:31 of action to take a 57-28 lead and the Blue Jays went onto win the game by a score of 64-37.

• The Blue Jays have not lost to the Owls as JHU is 36-0 all-time against Bryn Mawr.

Inside the Box Score
• With five rebounds in the game, Lexie Scholtz now has 500 for her career joining Cole who reached the mark earlier this season. They are the 14th and 15th JHU players to pull down at least 500 boards in their career. Cole finished the game with seven rebounds.
• Scott led all scorers with 17 points in the game while Diarra Oden added eight. Elise Moore finished the game with seven points while McGrath finished with six. Lyndsey Hoyd, Sweeney and Maggie Spitzer scored five points each and Abbey Reppen scored her first collegiate points with a three late in the contest.
