ALLENTOWN, PA. – The Ursinus College men's golf team returned to the course on Monday afternoon, earning a 12
th-place finish at the Muhlenberg Invitational.
The Bears had five members competing at the Lehigh Country Club, a par-70 course that stretches over 6,415 yards. Junior
Evan Coffey led the Bears with a T-22
nd finish with a total tally of 82 (+12). Classmate
Billy Cardino closed out his round with a T-38
th finish turning in a final score of 86 (+16), while first-year
Alec Plante (T-55
th) finished two strokes off his collegiate best with a 94.
Junior
Nick Troha (59
th) finished with a final tally of 100, while senior
T.J. Stanton closed out his round with a 61
st-place finish, signing for a 107. Moravian's Jake Haberstumpf won the invitational with a final score of 72 (+2), while Dickinson College won the team title with a final tally of 299 (+19). Alvernia (304), Moravian (309), Arcadia (317), and Swarthmore (325) rounded the top-five of the twelve teams participating.
The Bears will return to action on Monday, October 17
th as they travel to Lititz, Pennsylvania for the F&M Fall Invitational.
