LANCASTER, Pa.—Swarthmore College Women's Track & Field competed in its first meet of 2018 on the campus of Franklin & Marshall College.
Claire Conley led Swarthmore in the shot put and finished second overall with a throw of 12.48 meters, a new career best.
Swarthmore had three runners in the top 10 of the 3,000-meter finals.
Irina Bukharin ran a sub-11 time of 10:57.33 for third overall. Hannah Gutow (11:42.44) finished ninth and
Emma Novak (11:45.97) came in 10th.
In the 200 meters,
Kayla Camacho posted a time of 27.98 for ninth place.
Next up for Swarthmore is the Widener Field Meet on Jan. 26.
