HANOVER, Pa.  – Senior Gillian Marini (Moorestown, N.J./Moorestown) captured her first individual title during a tri-match with McDaniel College and Franklin & Marshall College Sunday at the South Hills Golf Club.
 
Marini has led Gettysburg in each of its three events this fall. On Sunday, the senior carded a 90 to beat out McDaniel's Kelsey Kirkman by three strokes.
 
Freshman Cameron D'Amica (Milford, N.J./Delaware Valley) grabbed the third position with a 94, while senior Virginia Martin (Pearland, Texas/Dawson) finished right behind in fourth with a 101.
 
Senior Keira Cooney (Glenmoore, Pa./Bishop Shanahan) and sophomore Lindsay Waller (Perry, Mich./Perry) carded 113 and 123, respectively.
 
As a team, Gettysburg shot 398 to beat out F&M (428) and McDaniel (474).
 
Gettysburg closes its fall campaign by hosting a tri-match on Sunday, Sept. 30, at The Links at Gettysburg. Opening tee times are set for 1 p.m.
