Despite getting decent pitching, the Muhlenberg baseball team had a rough day offensively and lost to Nebraska Wesleyan, 4-0, in Auburndale, Fla.
Four Mule pitchers combined on a six-hitter and struck out nine batters. Freshman
Alec Andrews (pictured above) fanned six while allowing only two hits in 4 2/3 innings in his first career start. Senior
Timmy Pilrun tossed a perfect ninth inning, striking out two of the three hitters he faced.Â
The Mules (3-6) managed only six baserunners, and only two of them made it past first base. Freshman
Robert Cappadona had two of Muhlenberg's four hits and is 5-for-7 in the last two games.
