HOBOKEN, N.J. (February 6, 2016) – The No. 20 Stevens Institute of Technology wrestling team wrapped-up its regular season in dominating 52-3, and 49-0 wins over Washington & Lee University and McDaniel College respectively on senior day in Hoboken.
The wins set Stevens' final record at 18-2 (6-0), while McDaniel and Washington and Lee fell to 11-7 (4-4) and 6-13 (0-8).
The 18 wins extended the program record set last weekend, while the 14-straight dual wins also extended the record set on Jan. 27.
Stevens 52, Washington & Lee 3
Junior
Rob Murray got the Ducks started with a pin in 2:24, but W&L responded at 133 with a decision victory to cut the lead in half. The win was the 16th straight for Murray in duals, and his third pin overall.
Senior
Ryan Wilson extended the lead to nine with a pin in 2:58 at 141, before four consecutive W&L forfeits gave the Ducks the overwhelming 36-3 advantage. No. 5 sophomore
A.J. Kowal extended the lead with a major at 184, followed by another two forfeits by W&L to end the match.
The win was the 31st of the season for Kowal, and his team-leading 17th straight in duals.

Murray once again got the Ducks on the board first with a dominating, 15-0 technical fall win at 125. McDaniel took a forfeit at 133, before Wilson won his second match of the day with a back-and-forth, 10-7 win at 141.
The win was the 20th of the season for Wilson, and his fourth straight in duals.
Sophomore
Zach Wilhelm followed-suit with a win by fall in 3:20 at 149, followed by senior Vic Del Monico's major at 157. The win kept Del Monico undefeated in duals this season at 6-0.
No. 6 junior
Colin Navickas extended his dual-match streak to a team-high 19 with a pin win at 165, before sophomore
Phil Woods picked-up the major, 12-3 at 174. Kowal continued the run with a pin in 1:14 at 184, extending his team-lead in pins to 18.
With the match well in hand, junior
Danny Moore won 6-0 at 197 before senior
Tyler Maher put an exclamation point on the day with a 43 second pin at 285.
