Anthony Calantoni won the 1500 meters at the Lehigh Games in the Muhlenberg track and field teams' final tuneup for the Centennial Conference Championships.
Calantoni ran 3:56.07 to take first place in a field of 45 runners, edging out a Division I runner from St. Joseph's (Pa.). The time was the fifth-fastest in team history and made Calantoni the Mules' second IC4A qualifier in as many weeks, following
Corey Mullins' performance in the same event at the Greyhound Invitational. Entering the weekend, there were only four faster marks in the CC this season.
The Muhlenberg teams competed with a limited number of athletes and combined for 11 new and or improved Centennial Conference qualifiers.
