• Chris Festa broke the scoreless tie in the bottom of the third with his sixth homer of the season as he took the 3-1 pitch over the left-field wall.
• Matthew Ritchie led off the fourth with a walk and Austin Sacks followed with a no-doubter over the right-center field wall to put Hopkins up 3-0. The Blue Jays made it 4-0 with another run in the fifth on a single to left by King that scored Mike Eberle.
• A five-run sixth inning put the game firmly in control for JHU. Chris DeGiacomo came up with the bases loaded and rocketed a single to plate two runs and Festa and King both followed with RBI singles to make the score 8-0. Festa then took home on a wild pitch to make it a nine-run Hopkins lead.
• Eberle gave Johns Hopkins a double-digit lead in the seventh as his sacrifice fly scored Adam Kohl from third.
• Another five-run inning in the eighth by the Blue Jays made it a 15-0 game.  Bradley Parsons doubled to left-center to score two and a three-run shot by Nate Davis wrapped up the scoring for the Blue Jays in the inning.
• Jaspar Carmichael and John Donohue came in out of the bullpen for Hopkins and did an excellent job, combining for four innings, allowing just three hits with no walks and four strikeouts. Donohue struck out four of the six batters he faced in the game as Johns Hopkins took home the 15-0 win.
