Sophomore Spencer Weiner of the Muhlenberg men's golf team tied for first place with a 79 in chilly conditions at the John Makuvek Cup.

Weiner (pictured above) was one of three competitors - one from each team - to shoot 79 in the annual Lehigh Valley match between Muhlenberg, Moravian and DeSales. A DeSales golfer won the playoff hole to take home medalist honors.

Senior Ellis Focht finished a stroke back at 80. The event was the final competition of the fall for the Mules.
