ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa.—Swarthmore College Men's Golf finished in seventh of 13 teams at Bridges Golf Club in the Mason-Dixon Collegiate Classic on Saturday and Sunday. The Garnet carded a 315 on day one and trimmed their score to 301 on Sunday on the par-72, 6,713-yard course.
Michael Chen, who finished 11th overall and nine strokes off the lead, led the Garnet with a 150 (+6), shooting a 76 on Saturday and a 74 Sunday.
Nick DiMaio had a dramatic turnaround after carding an 82 on Saturday to bounce back with a 71 on Sunday. DiMaio's 153 (+9) had him in a tie for 22nd.
Vamsi Damerla shot a 78 on both days to finish +12.
Dan Altieri posted a 79 and then a 78 on Sunday for Swarthmore's fourth score.
Yousaf Razvi recorded a +23, and freshmen
Adam Agustin and
Joshua Siegel playing as individuals carded a +12 and +26, respectively.
Swarthmore will be sending a team on Monday to the Muhlenberg Fall Invitational at Lehigh Country Club.
