CHESTER, Pa.—Swarthmore College Women's Track & Field competed at the Danny Curran Invitational at Widener University on Friday and Saturday, posting several top-10 finishes.
Swarthmore's 4x400 relay team of Kayla Camacho, Jen Beltran, Lilly Price and Pauline McMurry won by a three-second margin (4:04.36).
Price won the 800 meters in a time of 2:15.23, the fastest time outdoors in the Centennial Conference so far this year. McMurry finished eighth with a time of 2:31.04.
Camacho finished second in both the 200 and 400 meters. She ran the 200 in 25.68 and the 400 in 58.78. Both of those marks lead the Centennial this season. Beltran added a sixth-place finish in the 400 meters (1:01.11).
Hannah Gutow clocked the 5,000m in 19:21.56, good enough for ninth place.
Naomi Bronkema placed fifth in the high jump (1.42m), ninth in the hammer (33.96m) and 10th in the shot put (10.07m). Claire Conley was third in the shot put (11.91m).
Maya Zimmerman launched the javelin 30.75m for fourth place.
The Garnet return to action next weekend at Princeton and West Chester Universities.
