The Muhlenberg women's soccer team suffered its first loss of the season, 2-0 on a rainy afternoon at Arcadia.

The Knights, who have earned five straight postseason berths and won an NCAA Tournament game last year, scored a goal at the 23:55 mark, snapping the Mules' season-opening unscored-upon streak of more than 310 minutes.

Muhlenberg pressed for an equalizer after the goal, taking three shots and two corner kicks in the next four minutes, but could not find the mark against an Arcadia team that has lost only three home games in the last four years.

The Mules remained within one goal until the Knights scored an insurance marker in the final three minutes.
