LEHIGH, Pa.—Swarthmore College Men's Cross Country ran to second place out of 36 teams in the Paul Short Run White 8K on Friday afternoon. Led by three runners in the top 25, the Garnet came away with 150 points. Southern Connecticut State finished first with 134 points.

The Garnet averaged a time of 26:40 as a team.

Swarthmore sophomore Vaughn Parts finished 13th overall with a time of 26:14. Senior Mayank Agrawal came in 21st place with a time of 26:30. Sophomore Frank Kenny ran the course in 26:35 for 23rd overall. Lucas Heinzerling completed the meet in 30th place with a time of 26:42.

Freshman Kevin Hudson clocked a time of 27:18 for the Garnet's fifth score.

Evan Baker came in 68th (27:22) and Ben Charo was not too far behind with a time of 27:25.

Swarthmore's next meet is Oct. 14 at Rowan University.
