Muhlenberg senior Anthony Calantoni broke the school record in the 1000 meters at the Lehigh Fast Times Before Finals Meet.

Calantoni was paced through the first 400 by Muhlenberg junior Christopher Funge, as the duo went through the quarter in 58 seconds. Calantoni went through the 800 in 1:59 and finished the race in 2:30.51, breaking the school record - set by Hall-of-Famer David Chorney nine years ago - by 22 hundredths of a second.

The mark won the event by more than 1½ seconds over a Division I runner from Lehigh and also qualifies Calantoni for the indoor ECAC Championships.
