ELVERSON, Pa. – Sophomore
Danny Harcourt (Fanwood, N.J./Saint Peter's Prep) captured medalist honors for the second match in a row, leading the Gettysburg College men's golf team to a second-place finish among 13 teams at the Ursinus Spring Invitational on Tuesday at Stonewall North Country Club.

The Bullets shot a 306 – their best round of the spring – to finish six strokes behind Cabrini for the team title. It was the fifth top-three finish of the year for Gettysburg, which was followed in the team standings by fellow Centennial Conference members Dickinson (308) and Muhlenberg (312).

Harcourt fired a 2-over 72, his lowest round of the spring, while finishing in a three-way tie with Albright's Nick Hand and Cabrini's David Gall for first place. However, Harcourt was awarded the individual title on the third tiebreaker – card comparison of the 18th hole.

Harcourt also won the Hershey Cup last Monday as well as the Penn State Harrisburg Invitational back in September.

Finishing just two strokes off the lead was sophomore
Dane Sethre-Hofstad (Moorhead, Minn./Moorhead), who tied for fourth among 70 competitors with a 74. Rounding out the team scoring were sophomores
Alec Dempsey (Bolton, Mass./Nashoba Regional), who tied for 19th with a 79, and
Christian Haldeman (Center Valley, Pa./Moravian Academy), who tied for 27th with an 81.

Jake Ecke (Prospect, Conn./Cheshire) was also in action and tied for 36th with an 83. In addition, freshman
Ethan Murphy (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) competed as an individual and shot an 81.
