The Muhlenberg wrestling team enjoyed a sensational day at the North/South Duals, sweeping four matches to improve to 14-4 on the season. 

The 14 wins are the second-most in program history, behind only the 17 wins recorded by the 2001 and 2002 teams.

After handily defeating Division III opponents Elizabethtown (34-10), Rhode Island College (31-15) and Penn College (35-16), the Mules wrapped up the day with an impressive 24-17 win against Division II Shippensburg. 

Junior Austin Sherman went 4-0 at 141, including a pin and a technical fall, improving his season record to 22-7. Sophomore Tommy DiSisto (pictured above) won all three of his bouts at 174, recording his first career major decision in the Rhode Island match.

Muhlenberg was perfect at 197, with senior Gennaro Cerminara and freshman Luca Colestock each winning two bouts. Both of Cerminara's wins came on first-period pins, giving him double digits in falls for the third consecutive year.

Freshman Greg Baum notched pins in both of his bouts at 149, flattening his Elizabethtown opponent just 15 seconds into the second period. Junior Cam Wasson (184) needed only 57 seconds for a pin against Penn College in his first bout of the season.

A 3-0 day for junior Dylan Schwartz included a 4-3 decision against a Shippensburg wrestler who won two bouts at the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Championships.
