The Muhlenberg women's golf team wrapped up a busy week by competing in tournaments on consecutive days that could not have been more different weather-wise.
The Mules sent three golfers to Dickinson's Red Devil All-American Classic on Saturday and finished third at the Gettysburg Spring Invitational on Sunday. The latter tournament was held at Conestoga Country Club, the site of next weekend's Centennial Conference Championships.
Senior
Ashley Noel (pictured above) shot a career-best 84 on a warm, sunny day to tie for seventh place at Dickinson. Sophomore
Kat Hodges also finished with an 84, her best score of the spring.
With the temperature taking a steep drop overnight, the scores at Gettysburg were much higher. Only five golfers broke 90.
Senior
Maria Horvath carded a 93, her best round of the spring, to tie for eighth.Â
The Mules competed in five tournaments in a nine-day span, placing in the top three all four times they sent a complete team.
