ABBOTTSTOWN, Pa. -- Swarthmore College Golf came in 10th place of 17 teams at the Mason-Dixon Collegiate Classic hosted by McDaniel College on Saturday and Sunday.
The five Garnet golfers included in the team score recorded a 305 on Day 1 and a 312 on Day 2 for a total of 617 strokes.
Senior
Dan Altieri led Swarthmore in 28th place of 90 golfers with scores of 78 (+6) and 76 (+4).
Senior
Nick DiMaio and sophomore
Ankur Malik tied for 32nd with two-day scores of 155 (+11). Malik had Swarthmore's best 18-hole score of the tournament with 73 strokes on the first day.
Sophomore
Michael Brown shot 78 (+6) on both days to finish in 40th place.
The Garnet travel to Patriots Glen National Golf Club in Elkton, Md., for their next tournament that's hosted by Urinus College on Saturday at 9 a.m.
