SWARTHMORE, Pa. – Sophomore Kate Crilly (Shrewsbury, N.J./Ranney School) and senior Savannah Llewellyn (Plainfield, N.J./Plainfield) earned individual victories, but the Gettysburg College women's swimming team lost by a 168.5-93.5 count at Swarthmore in Centennial Conference (CC) action Saturday afternoon.
 
The Bullets (5-3, 3-2 CC) opened with a victory in the 200-medley relay, but the Garnet (6-2, 5-1 CC) went on to capture 10 of the final 13 events.
 
Crilly posted a pair of convincing victories, winning by 0.84 seconds in the 50-freestyle (24.30) and 3.45 seconds in the 100-freestyle (53.15). She also anchored the winning 200-medley relay, with Llewellyn, junior Sadie Stiles (Cape Elizabeth, Maine/Cape Elizabeth), and freshman Sydney Jaramillo (Woolwich Township, N.J./Kingsway Regional) swimming the first three legs. The four were timed at 1:51.27.
 
Llewellyn went on to capture a 0.1-second victory in the 100-butterfly, touching in 1:00.11. She also tied Jaramillo for second in the 200-butterfly (2:15.09).
 
Jaramillo was also second in the 200-IM, as was Stiles in both the 100-breaststroke (1:08.72) and the 200-breaststroke (2:31.48).
 
Gettysburg continues its season on Wednesday, when it visits Dickinson at 7 p.m. in another Centennial Conference affair.
