Junior
Ben Lieberman came in second to lead the Muhlenberg men's golf team to a third-place finish at its opening spring tournament, the RU-Camden Scarlet Raptor Spring Invitational.
Playing competitively for the first time in almost six months, the Mules wound up with a team score of 329 to finish two strokes behind second-place Stevens and nine strokes behind the host school.
Lieberman
(pictured above) shot a 4-over-par 76 in conditions that started out sunny but turned cloudy and chilly as the round wore on. He tied a Penn State Abington golfer for second and was awarded the second-place trophy on a match of cards.
Lieberman has shot 78 or better in each of his three rounds this year and 80 or better in all but one of his 19 career rounds.Â
