Behind career-best efforts by sophomore Jordan Segrave and junior Amanda Tullo, the Muhlenberg women's lacrosse team defeated Misericordia, 14-8, for its third straight win.

Segrave (pictured above) made a career-high 13 saves in guiding the Mules (5-2) to a comfortable edge on the scoreboard despite the shots being fairly even. She made five saves, three on free-position shots, before allowing her first goal 10 minutes into the game. Segrave stopped two more free-position attempts in the first half and finished with nine saves in the first 30 minutes.

Although both teams took 14 shots in the first half, Muhlenberg went into the break with a 9-4 lead.

Tullo scored a career-high five goals for her third hat trick in five games this season. The five points pushed over 100 for her career.

Senior Jordy Bonvini recorded a team-high six points on three goals and three assists, with sophomores Courtney Allen, Victoria Friedel and Emma Charron netting two goals apiece.

Muhlenberg trailed 3-2 before turning the game around with a 6-0 first-half run. Tullo netted three of her goals during the spurt.

After the Cougars (4-6) stopped the run with a goal of their own, the Mules extended their lead to 11-4 by scoring the last goal of the first half and the first two of the second.

Bonvini scored her three goals in succession in the second half, giving Muhlenberg a 14-5 lead. Misericordia scored three goals in the final 6:31 to make the final closer.

Junior Morgan Weiss led the defense with two caused turnovers and four ground balls. Senior Kailey Fandl also caused a pair of turnovers.
