THE SKINNY STORY
Gettysburg fired two sub-300 rounds to capture its own Battle at the Burg tournament. The Bullets posted a round of 298 on Sunday, trailing Dickinson by four strokes, before firing Monday's low round by six strokes with a 299 to finish with a 36-hole total of 597 to win by eight strokes. The Gettysburg B-Team placed third in the eight-team field with a score of 611 (305-306).

THE LEADERS
• Daniel Suter (Gaithersburg, Md./Milton Academy) led the Bullets with his second consecutive tournament victory to open the fall. He posted a one-over par round of 72 on Sunday and found himself two strokes off the lead before carding a round of 74 on Monday to finish with a two-day score of 146.
• Corey Haydu (Doylestown, Pa./LaSalle College) matched Suter both days to finish tied for the individual lead with a 146.
• The duo went to a sudden-victory playoff, starting at Hole No. 18 – a 193-yard, par 3. Haydu missed the green with his tee shot while Suter was on the edge, left of the pin. Suter went on to make par while Haydu had to settle for a bogey, giving Suter the individual medalist honors.

FOR THE FOES
• Dickinson placed second overall with a score of 605 (294-311).

THE REST OF THE STORY
• Drew Hurley (North Falmouth, Mass./Saddlebrook Prep) finished tied for 11th overall with a two-day score of 153 that included a one-over par 72 on Monday – the low round of the second day.
• Evan Drummond (Exton, Pa./Downingtown East) was tied for 13th overall with a score of 154 (75-79).
• Joseph Furlong (Midland Park, N.J./Midland Park) rounded out the A-team with a score of 158, carding matching rounds of 79 to place 24th.
• Christian Deussing (Doylestown, Pa./Hun School of Princeton [N.J.]) led the B-team with a 36-hole score of 149, firing a round of 72 on Sunday. He was tied for fifth in the field.
• Patrick Kilcoyne (Belmont, Mass./Belmont) posted a score of 151 that included a score of 73 on Monday to place tied for seventh.
• Sean Engler (Bluffton, S.C./Hilton Head Christian Academy) placed tied for ninth with a score of 152 (74-78).
• Graeme Hollingshead (Basking Ridge, N.J./Gill St. Bernard's) finished 25th with a total of 159 (81-78) while Nick Conti (Westfield, N.J./Westfield) was 37th with a score of 169 (81-88).

THE INSIDE STORY
• It was the first collegiate tournament for Christian Deussing, who posted a round of 72 in his debut.
• Nick Conti and Sean Engler were also playing their first collegiate tournament.
