BETHLEHEM, Pa. – After opening the season back on Dec. 2, the Gettysburg College men's indoor track and field team returned to action on Saturday at the John Covert Classic, hosted by Lehigh University.
No team scoring was kept at the meet, which featured a mix of Division I, II, and III competition.
Junior
Matt Robinson (Taneytown, Md./Pinkerton Academy [N.H.]) posted two of the top finishes for the Bullets. He placed 14th in a field of 60 in the mile with a time of 4:36.27, and he also took fourth among 12 competitors in the 1,000-meter run, clocking a 2:41.25.
Sophomore
Ezekiel Omosanya (Lagos, Nigeria/Northfield Mount Hermon [Mass.]) also performed well, placing 18th out of 65 runners in the 60-meter dash. He was timed at 7.28 seconds.
Sophomore
Orrin Wilson (Hummelstown, Pa./Hershey) added a ninth-place finish in a field of 28 in the 400-meter dash (54.75), and he also moved into No. 8 all-time at Gettysburg in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.60.

Nate Wojick '17 ran as an unattached competitor and captured the 800-meter run with a time of 1:57.67.
Gettysburg returns to action next Saturday at the DuCharme Classic, hosted by Dickinson.
