The Muhlenberg wrestling team honored its three senior members of the team before taking on Liberty in its final dual match of the season.

Jake Gordon,
Logan Laughlin and
Ben Peck were featured in the ceremony before the match, a 34-8 defeat. The trio has combined for exactly 100 victories, including 21 pins, 11 tech falls and 14 major decisions.

Junior
Gennaro Cerminara and sophomore
Dylan Schwartz each won by major decision to highlight the Mules' performance against the Flames.

Cerminara, coming off his gold-medal winning CC tournament, trailed 5-3 midway through the second period before scoring a late takedown to tie his bout. He took a 7-5 lead on a near fall to end the second period, then reversed his opponent and scored a four-point near fall to win 13-5, his 30th win this season and 62nd of his career.

Schwartz scored three takedowns in the first period in taking a 6-2 lead. He then escaped and earned another takedown in the second period plus one more takedown in the third period and with riding time won 12-4. The victory is Schwartz's team-leading 33rd of the season.

The match served as a tuneup for the Mules before they travel to Ithaca, N.Y., for the NCAA Mideast Regional, scheduled for next Friday and Saturday.
