Match Summary
Gettysburg jumped out to a three-stroke lead with a 294 on the opening day and the Bullets needed all of those strokes on Sunday. McDaniel, York, and Franklin & Marshall turned in lower scores, but Gettysburg's 296 was enough to hold the rest of the field at bay by one stroke, marking the closest finish in tournament history. Gettysburg secured its third team title of the fall following the Moravian Weyhill Classic on Sept. 13 and the Battle of the Burg on Oct. 3-4. It was also Gettysburg's first title in the 10-year history of the event.

Moffat's consistency was unmatched on the course over the two days as he tied his career low for the third consecutive round. On Saturday, the senior shot 34 on the front nine and 36 on the back nine, while on Sunday those scores reversed. He tallied a total of seven birdies during the event, including three on the back nine on Sunday. Moffat broke the tournament record by one stroke and turned in the fourth-lowest 36-hole tournament score in program history.

Sophomore Cameron Deiuliis (Highland, Md./River Hill) and freshman Daniel Suter (Gaithersburg, Md./Milton Academy) both tied for 10th with scores of 150. After carding four birdies for a one-over 73 on Saturday, Deiuliis managed one birdie in the final round on the way to a 77. Suter shaved two strokes off his first-round tally of 76, racking up three of his four birdies on par-5s on the way to a 74 on Sunday.

Sophomore Evan Drummond (Exton, Pa./Downingtown East) tied for 19th with 152 (75-77). Drummond recorded all three of his birdies in the opening round. Senior Matthew Kalamar (Bethlehem, Pa./Allentown Central) recorded a three-under 33 on the front nine on Sunday, tying for the lowest front nine in the whole tournament. Kalamar posted three birdies and six pars on the front half of the course and finished with a 75 on Sunday, shaving seven strokes off his first-round score. The senior finished tied for 39th with a two-day total of 157.
