RESULTS
HAVERFORD, Pa. –The Swarthmore College women's track and field team finished first in three individuals events at Haverford's Keogh Invitational, the final meet before next weekend's Centennial Conference Championships.
Indy Reid-Shaw claimed the mile in 5:14.54 as
Lilly Price and
Natalie McLaughlin finished third and fourth with respective times of 5:26.32 and 5:36.46.
Jen Beltran finished first in the 800-meter race with a time of 2:25.50 as freshman
Sydney Covitz was fourth in 2:31.58.
Kayla Camacho won the 60-meter dash with a personal-best time of 8.24 and also finished second in the 200-meter in 27.36.
Hanna Gutow was the runner-up in the 3k after finishing with a time of 11:28.82.
In the field events, freshman
Claire Conley threw 9.83m for fourth place in the shot put, just ahead of classmate
Rachel Vresilovic's fifth-place distance of 9.76m.
The women's track and field team next competes at the conference championships hosted Friday through Sunday on the campus of Ursinus College.
