Bullets played their final regular season home contest

GETTYSBURG, Pa. The Gettysburg College women's basketball team rolled to its 17th overall Centennial Conference victory with a 64-38 decision against Washington College Saturday afternoon inside Bream Gym on Senior Day. Today's win also marked the third consecutive 20-win season for the Bullets.

The visitors never came that close again as Gettysburg closed the opening quarter by going on a 10-3 run. Dorshimer netted 13 points on 5-of-7 shooting, making 3-of-3 from beyond the arc, in the period.

Leading 18-9 after one period, the Bullets scored the first seven points of the second quarter to take a 16-point lead. Gettysburg's defense buckled down and held the Shorewomen to just six points, causing six turnovers, in the period to head into intermission with the 33-15 advantage.

Washington used a 9-3 run to start the third quarter, cutting the advantage down to 12. The lead would not dip below 15 in the remaining 13 minutes and reached a game-high 26 on a lay-up by sophomore Haley Race (West Palm Beach, Fla./Oxbridge Academy) with 57 seconds left.
