LANCASTER, Pa.—Swarthmore College Men's Track & Field returned to competition in 2018 for the Coach I Open at Franklin & Marshall College on Saturday.
Jared Hunt broke his own school record in the shot put, with a throw of 14.90 meters. Swarthmore placed two through four in the shot put finals.

Ryan Marrone recorded a throw of 14.40 meters on his third throw.
Andrew Jansen finished fourth with a toss of 13.64m.
Freshman
Kevin Hudson raced to second place in the 800 meters with a time of 2:00.61, and rookie
Shail Modi finished in 11th place with a time of 2:10.40.
In the men's 200 meters, Adil Belagaumi ran to ninth place with a time of 23.79.
Freshman
Alex Flowers took second in the pole vault with a 3.96m mark.
Swarthmore returns to action on Jan. 26 at the Widener Field Meet.
