Junior Aine Filler of the Muhlenberg women's golf team shot a season-low 82 to capture medalist honors at the Ursinus Spring Invitational.

As a team, the Mules tied Ursinus for second, three strokes behind Alvernia. They have competed in three tournaments this spring and finished in the top three in all of them.

Filler finished one stroke ahead of an Ursinus golfer to win a tournament for the fourth time in her career. She has placed first or second in eight of 19 career tournaments.

Sophomore Kat Hodges came in 10th with a 93, while senior Ashley Noel, who shot a career-best 94 at McDaniel three days ago, carded a 95.

The men sent three individuals to the tournament. Junior Ellis Focht, competing for the first time this year, tied for eighth with a 78, one stroke ahead of freshman Dan Kurson. Freshman Matt Polverino shot a career-low 84.
