• A three from Karinna Papke to open the third brought the Garnet to within eight but two free throws from Diarra Oden and a layup from Scott gave the Blue Jays a 43-31 advantage. A three from Faith Nation at 5:28 once again brought Swarthmore to within eight at 46-38, but the Blue Jays went on a 7-0 run to take a 53-38 lead and Johns Hopkins would enter fourth quarter leading 53-42.
