CHESTER, Pa.—Swarthmore College Women's Track & Field was back at Widener University on Saturday.
Swarthmore's
Kayla Camacho finished in third place in the 100- and 200-meter dash with times of 12.58 and 25.62. Both of those times are the top marks in the Centennial Conference this season.
In the 400 meters, freshman
Lauren Holt claimed 10th place with a time of 1:04.00.
Jen Beltran ran the 800 in 2:17.34 for second overall and
Lilly Price clocked a 2:26.86 in that heat.
Swarthmore had four runners in the top 10 in the 1,500-meter finals:
Jillian Haywood (fourth),
Irina Bukharin (sixth),
Pauline McMurry (ninth) and
Kim Rosa-Perez (10th).
In the 5,000, three Swarthmore runners, Hannah Gutow,
Phoebe Whiteside and
Sarah Smith, finished with a sub-21-minute time and were in the top seven.
Over in the discus,
Rachel Vresilovic and
Claire Conley finished one and two in the standings. Vresilovic had a throw of 36.48 meters and Conley was just 0.4 meters short of Vresilovic.
Swarthmore returns to compete at Widener again next weekend.
