LEWISBURG, Pa. – Three members of the Gettysburg College men's track and field competed on Saturday and Sunday at the highly-competitive Bison Outdoor Classic, hosted by Bucknell University.

The meet featured a mix of athletes from Division I, II, and III as well as unattached competitors. Â

Turning in the top performance for the Bullets was junior
Matt Robinson (Taneytown, Md./Pinkerton Academy [N.H.]), who won his heat and placed 26th out of 143 total competitors in the 800-meter run. Robinson clocked a personal record of 1:55.26 while beating out 10 runners in his heat, including six from Division I schools.

Robinson also competed in the 1,500-meter run on Saturday and came in 108th in 4:25.05.

Sophomore
Ken Barnes (Edison, N.J./Westminster School [Conn.]) and junior
Thad Cwiklinski (Glen Rock, Pa./York Catholic) were also in action on Sunday. Barnes took 24th in the long jump (20-5 3/4) while Cwiklinski placed 50th in the 400-meter dash (52.61).

The Bullets compete in their lone home meet of the season on Saturday with the Gettysburg Mason-Dixon Invitational.
