FARMINGDALE, N.Y. -- No. 19-ranked Swarthmore College Women's Soccer is no longer undefeated as it took a 1-0 loss at Farmingdale State College on Sunday.
The Garnet (10-1-1) outshot the Rams (9-3-1) 22-5 in the match but failed to score. Farmingdale scored the game's only goal in the 88th minute to win off of a long cross that found the middle of the 18.
Swarthmore took four corner kicks and forced the Rams goalkeeper to make 10 saves in the match.
Next up for the Garnet is a home match against No. 5 Johns Hopkins University.
