Box Score CLEARWATER, Fla.—Swarthmore College Women's Lacrosse continued its perfect start to the 2019 season with a 17-7 over Piedmont College on Thursday.
Senior attack Elizabeth Wainwright and sophomore Mackenzie Frost led Swarthmore with three goals each. Kathryn Restrepo, Sophie Peipher and Eleanor Miller each scored a pair of goals.
Tess Wild, Kacy Hafertepe, Megan Jones, Ashley Pyon and Mia Capozzoli scored a goal as well.
Restrepo dealt out a game-high three assists.
Wild gathered four draw controls, and Miller and Peipher each had three.
The Garnet tallied 13 goals in the first half to build a 13-1 lead.
Swarthmore returns home on Saturday for a 3 p.m. game against Eastern University.
