SWARTHMORE, Pa.—Swarthmore College Women's Swimming triumphed over the visiting Dickinson College Red Devils 148-109 on Saturday, making for a successful senior day celebration.
The Garnet honored seniors Sierra Bienz, Scout Clark, Sophie Moody, Sarah Solomon and Liz Staton and Katie Strachan prior to the meet.
Swarthmore opened with a win in the 200 medley relay with Stephanie Tilneac, Sophia Lee, Liz Gallagher and Anna Kottakis claiming first in 1:51.25.
The Garnet swept the top three spots in the 200 free with Anna Lyn pushing the pace and returning to the wall in 1:56.71. Scout Clark and Dani Gomez finished second and third.
Tilneac earned an individual win in the next event, the 100 back, with a time of 1:00.52. In the 100 breast, Lee clocked in at 1:09.41 for first. Lee also placed first in the 100 IM with a time of 1:01.91.
Liz Gallagher's 2:15.73 earned her top billing in the 200 fly. She added another win layer in the 100 fly in 59.79.
Lyn earned her second gold of the day with a time of 55.15 in the 100 free.
Staton won the 200 breast in 2:29.54, beating the next closest swimmer by more than five seconds.
In the final event of the day, the freshman relay squad of Gallagher, Gomez, Lyn and Alexa Specht finished in first place with a time of 3:46.95.
RESULTS
