SWARTHMORE, Pa.—Tenth-ranked Dickinson College proved to be a tough matchup for the Swarthmore College men's lacrosse team on Saturday. The Swarthmore Garnet (6-5, 1-4 overall) were within one goal early in the second quarter, but the Dickinson Red Devils (10-3, 4-1) exploded for six goals in that quarter to run away with the contest 15-6.

Six different Garnet players scored in the loss: Nathaniel Johns, Jake Ross, Austin Chang, Andrew Estella, Mason Evarts and Cam Marsh. Marsh netted career goal 100 and is just one of five Garnet players in program history to reach that plateau. Marsh also had two assists for a three-point game. Johns and Ross each had an assist too.

Frankie Dillon started in goal and recorded 17 saves as Dickinson rattled off 4 shots in total.

After scoring back-to-back goals in the beginning of the third, Swarthmore pulled within four goals, 9-5. Dickinson struck for six straight goals in the fourth to prevent a Swarthmore comeback.

The Garnet return to action on Saturday at McDaniel College.
