COLLEGEVILLE, Pa.—Swarthmore College Women's Track & Field competed at the Frank Colden Invite on Saturday at Ursinus College and also had a pair of runners compete in Staten Island, N.Y. at the Villanova Invitational.
Sophomore
Claire Conley threw to second place in the shot put (12.87m).
Kayla Camacho claimed second-place in the 400 meters (1:02.38) and fifth in the 200 (28.03).
In the mile,
Irina Bukharin clocked in at 5:28.15 for sixth place.
Sophomore
Sydney Covitz ran to third place in the 800 with a time of 2:26.30.
Louise Rosler was just over a second behind with a time of 2:27.53 for sixth place. Covitz and Rosler are also both members of Swarthmore's women's soccer team.
In Staten Island,
Jen Beltran ran her top time this season in the 800 (2:17.93 and finished 11th there.
Lilly Price was 19th with a time of 2:24.71.
