The Franklin & Marshall baseball team (10-8) returns from the Sunshine State to play three non-conference road games this week. The Diplomats play a midweek contest at Elizabethtown (9-4) Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. before their doubleheader at No. 23 Montclair State (6-1) Friday at 3:00 p.m.

Last Two Weeks

F&M caught fire in the last 14 days, winning nine-straight games with eight victories coming into the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic. It was the first time in program history that the Diplomats went undefeated on their Florida Spring Break trip. F&M outscored its opponents 109-38 in Florida, including scoring 31 runs in the 31-3 victory against Western Connecticut State. The 31-run, 30-hit performance shattered the program runs and hits record as the game was called after seven innings due to mercy rule.

Last Time vs. Elizabethtown

The Blue Jays ended F&M's three-game winning streak last season as ETown shutout the Diplomats, 4-0. Five different Diplomats tallied a hit in the contest.

Jason Schulman started the game on the mound, striking out two and allowing three earned runs in three innings of work. Dan Galef struck out three and didn't allow a hit in one inning of relief. Read the full recap here.

Last Time vs. Montclair State

The Red Hawks defeated the Diplomats 19-10 in their last meeting in 2006. 

Elizabethtown Team Preview

ETown enters Tuesday's game on a two-game winning streak. Outfielder Ben Watson holds a .535 batting average, which is 12th-highest in the nation. Watson is also 18th in the nation for slugging percentage (.955). Pitcher Kyle Mulville leads ETown in strikeouts with 18 through 18.1 innings on the mound. 

Montclair State Team Preview

The Red Hawks play Lehman College on Tuesday and Penn State Abington on Wednesday before hosting F&M on Friday. Miles Feaster leads the team with a .438 batting average and four doubles this season. Ryan McKenna leads Montclair State with three home runs in seven games.
