COLLEGEVILLE, Pa. – The Gettysburg College women's swimming team turned in a dominant performance against No. 20 Ursinus College Saturday afternoon, winning 12-of-14 events on the way to a 185-77 victory in a Centennial Conference dual meet.

Meet Highlights

• Cooper and Moss dominated the breaststroke events again. The sophomore held the upperhand this time around, winning the 100-yard race by 0.33 and taking the 200 by over two seconds against the first-year. The pair have combined to win all seven breaststroke races this season.
• First-year Hannah Wasson (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth) teamed with classmates Moss and Clancy and Crilly for an almost six-second win in the 400 medley relay. All four Bullets held the fastest split times out of the four relay teams with Crilly capping the race with a 53.74 split for a total time of 4:01.19.
• Crilly won the 50 free over two of her teammates and matched defending Centennial 100-free champ Sophie Lear stroke-for-stroke until the very end of a close race won by the Bear swimmer.
• Wojnar was running third in the 1,000 free before making a move midway through the race. She overtook Katie Schultz from Ursinus with about 350 yards remaining and pushed the advantage to about four seconds over the final 200. The sophomore out-dueled Wasson for a win in the 200 back (2:12.13) and just missed a third victory as Moss pulled in front during the breaststroke portion of the 200 IM and won by just 0.09 seconds.
• Clancy swept the fly events for the second time this season, claiming the 200 by over two seconds and holding off Wasson for a 0.39 second win in the 100.
• Wasson added an individual win in the 100 back to her two runner-up showings. The sophomore beat out fellow first-year Katie Champagne from Ursinus by 0.39 seconds with a time of 1:00.32
• Freshman Grace Bobeck (Allentown, Pa./Salisbury) raced past Schultz and teammate Lauren Manning (West Hartford, Conn./Conard) in the 500 free. With Schultz, last year's CC silver medalist in the event, and Manning dueling for the lead, Bobeck slipped ahead with 200 yards left and held on for a close victory with a time of 5:23.43.

 
Where the Series Stands Now
Gettysburg ended a six-meet losing streak to Ursinus and picked up its first dual win over the Bears since 2012-13. The Bullets moved to 29-6 in the all-time series.
