The Muhlenberg men's tennis team opened its fall season with an impressive 9-0 shutout of Moravian.
The Mules lost only six games in three doubles matches and 10 in six singles contests to give
Jason Toedter a win against his alma mater in his debut as head coach.
Junior
Noah Sellinger (No. 2) and sophomore
Adam Kronick (No. 5) both posted 6-0, 6-0 sweeps in singles play. Sophomore
Noah Dunn, who did not play higher than No. 6 last year, won his No. 3 singles match, 6-1, 6-0.
Senior
Steven Shoemaker (pictured above) conceded only three total games in winning at both doubles and singles. Freshman
Lucas Bueno was victorious at the top of both ladders in his first career collegiate matches.Â
The women also played at Moravian, falling 8-1. Senior
Shelby Knafo and sophomore
Geetika Bhatia picked up the Mules' lone point with an 8-5 win at third doubles.
