LANCASTER, Pa. – Fifth-ranked Franklin & Marshall College remained unbeaten in Centennial Conference play with a 3-0 decision over Gettysburg College Wednesday evening.

How It Happened…
- First Quarter: The hosts opened up with a penalty corner and shot in the first 25 seconds of action, but Caputo logged a save on the attempt by Coverdale. The Bullets came right back with a pair of shots on goal with both stopped by Seery.
- Second Quarter: The Diplomats attacked the cage just over two minutes into the frame. Caputo and Dwyer logged a pair of saves, but the third time was the charm for F&M as Klopp slapped in the rebound for a goal.
- Third Quarter: Klopp padded the lead with a redirect on a hard hit by Coverdale in the 32nd minute. F&M out-shot the Bullets 8-0, but Caputo came up with two more saves in the period to maintain the two-goal deficit.
- Fourth Quarter: Caputo turned in a trio of saves to start the final period and Gettysburg tried to follow up offensively with a pair of shots on goal. The second by Bertrando was stopped by Seery in the 50th minute. Paige picked up the game's final tally on a feed by Gula in the 57th minute.
By the Numbers
- F&M led in shots 17-8, including a 12-0 edge in the second and third quarters.
- The Diplomats led in penalty corners 15-5. It was the first time in nine games the Bullets had posted less corners than their opponent.
- Dwyer recorded her fifth career defensive save and second of the season.

Franklin & Marshall improved to 27-21-3 against Gettysburg. The Diplomats have won the last nine meetings with the Bullets.
